PSEB 10th Results Release Date 2018

PSEB is expected to declare the results of PSEB 10th annual exams soon in the near future.  As per the reports, around 5 lakh students have appeared for the 10th annual exams this year.  Now all the students are waiting desperately for the results release.  The results will be announced by the board via its official website just like every year.  The board is right now busy with paper corrections.  It will take about 45 days time for paper evaluation.  After the completion of paper evaluation, the board will progress towards results release. The results will be announced by the board most likely in the month of May.

May is the month PSEB has announced the results of 10th board exams last year.  So, this year also, the board is planning to follow the same routine.  It is clearing the way for the results release.  In all likelihood, the results of PSEB 10th annual exams will be out in the last week of May, 2018.  So, students are advised to keep in touch with the official website of the board to know the results as soon as they are announced.  The results will be announced by the board via its official website.  The higher authority of the board will announce the results.  Most likely, the educational minister of the state announces the results.  As the exams are wrapped up just now, we are not so sure about the exact date of results release.  So, for now we have come up with tentative date of results release.  It is predicted that the results will be announced on Last Week on May this year.

PSEB 10th Previous Year Statistics

All the students have been eagerly waiting to know their score in the exams as the exams are wrapped up recently.  The board will take some time to announce the results.  Meanwhile, students can check the available statistics of previous year released by the board to analyze their percentages this year.  The previous year statistic will be of great help for the students to estimate their percentage.  Many students search for the previous year statistics to analyze their pass percentage.  It would be of great help for those students who are way too anxious to know their percentage.  Though the exact percentage cannot be predicted, it would help to some extent.  Last year over 3, 42, 330 examinees appeared for 10th public exams conducted by PSEB out of which 2, 47, 340 students passed in the exams.  The overall pass percentage is credited at 72.25%.
This year, it is expected that the pass percentage will reach past 80% this year.  This year, the individual performance of the students is said to have improved compared to last year.  So, ultimately it can be said that the overall pass percentage will see a hike this year. Also, the boys and girls who are always at rivalry when it comes to pass percentages, seems to do the same this year as well.  Girls and boys are competing neck and neck and the pass percentages seem to come out well this time around.

Pass percentage and Toppers List

The pass percentage will literally depend on the performance of the students.  Students will be given grades and not the scores.  The board is following grade system to announce the results.  Students will get to know their grade when the results are announced.  Students can later leisurely estimate their scores in each subject and also can calculate the grade total.  Students need to check out their grades from the official website.  The results will be available in many other private websites other than the official website.  Students can make use of any of the websites as per their convenience to check their results.
Students need to keep a hard copy of their result with them for reference.  Later, the board will provide the students with the original marks list, which they can collect from their respective schools.  The board along with releasing the results also releases the toppers list.  The topper list will be available for download in PDF format in the official web portal of the board itself.
