We are sure that all the students who took the Madhyamik exams conducted by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education are desperately waiting for the results release. It is quite common for the students to search for the results soon after the exams are completed.  Waiting for the results release makes the students anxious.  We suggest the students not to worry or feel anxious as the results will be out sooner or later.  The board is all set to release the results soon in the month of May.  It will in a short while come up with an official announcement about the results release.

As Madhyamik exams are the first public exams that students take in their school career, they feel a bit stressed.  However, due to the hard work they put into preparation, they manage to make good scores in the final exams.  The board conducts the exams for those who wish to go for higher studies.  This year also, the same thing happened and scores of aspiring students appeared for Madhyamik board exams 2018.  Now, all the students are anxiously waiting for the results release.  As per the board, the results will be announced in the second week of May.  Though we are not sure about the appropriate date of results release, we have come up with the approximate date as per the previous year results release date.  We can expect that WBBSE will release the results on 10th May 2018.

Previous Year Statistics

The previous year statics help the students a great deal to estimate the pass percentage.  The pass percentage showcases the performance of the students in the final exams as a whole.  The individual scores in the WB Board Madhyamik exams 2018 will ultimately depend on the performance of the students in the exams.  Using the previous year statistics, students can get an idea about the score they could probably get in the WB Madhyamik exams 2018.  Students can, therefore, estimate their score, which ultimately reduces the anxiousness to wait for the results release.
Last year, about 9,27,453 students qualified for the WB Madhyamik board exams 2018.  Around 11,43,372 candidates appeared for the WB Madhyamik board exams conducted by WB board.  The total pass percentage obtained by the students is 82.74%.  Students should note that the pass percentage is higher than the previous year pass percentage, which implies that there is a notable improvement in the performance of the students.  When it comes to competition between boys and girls, boys stood ahead of girls with a pass percentage of 86.34% and girls stood at 79.62%.  This year, the expectations on the pass percentage are bit high.  It is expected that the pass percentage will reach 84%.  Boys and girls are also expected to give good individual performances this year.

Pass percentage and Toppers list

The pass percentage is well maintained by the board.  By looking at the previous year statistics, we can say that there is a good improvement in the pass percentage year to year.  Students are doing very well and giving good performance at the board exams.  A good pass percentage symbolizes that students have worked really hard to make good percentages.  The pass percentage is nothing but the number of students passed out in the final exams.  It is calculated by the board itself and will be released online.
The board after releasing the results will release the toppers list.  The toppers list consists of the names and roll numbers of those students who topped the WB Madhyamik board exams 2018.  The state toppers will be announced at the time of results release by the educational minister of the state.  The top 10 toppers will be announced by the minister at the time of results release.  After the results are announced, the toppers list will be uploaded on the official website of WBBSE for download.  Students can download the WB Madhyamik result 2018 from the official website of WBBSE.  Students need to keep in touch with the official website of the board to know the updates about results release and all.
